The goal of Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is to incorporate the horse as a teaching partner and provide a unique learning experience that engages and challenges learners making the
education process fun and successful for all students.
Equine Assisted Learning Programs create an excitement about learning for students through an experiential multisensory program that includes a Touch Me Trailer exhibit, meeting horses, and a
horse treat “cooking” lesson. This program is available for school based learning and homeschoolers.
Using specially designed curriculum, including “Sadie’s Diary”, weekly units are developed to encourage site reading, social skills concept development, creative thinking, and active engagement. Weekly units are customized to support specific learning objectives.
